Szonja Hajnalka Török (born 1998) is a Hungarian kickboxing world champion known for her success in both national and international competitions. She has represented Hungary in various kickboxing events and has won numerous medals throughout her career.[1][2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Török began her kickboxing training in 2013 at the Budapest Complex SZC Pogány Frigyes Technikum, where she also completed her secondary education. During her time in school, she actively competed in kickboxing and quickly established herself as a promising athlete in the sport.[3]
Career
[edit]Török's career as a kickboxer began in the youth categories, where she earned several titles:
- 1st place at the Junior European and World Championships.
- 10-time Junior World Cup Champion.
- 6-time Hungarian Junior Champion.
Adult competitions:
- 4-time Hungarian National Champion.
- 2nd place at the World Cup in 2018.
- 3rd place in three different World Cup events since 2018.
Török's international accomplishments include:
- 1st place at the 2024 WAKO European Championships in Greece.
- 1st place at the 2024 29th Hungarian Kickboxing World Cup.
- 2nd place at the 2024 Turkish Open WAKO World Cup.
