Steven Angeli (born November 18, 2003)[1] is an American college football quarterback for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Early life
[edit]Raised in Westfield, New Jersey, Angeli attended and played high school football at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey, a school located 30 miles (48 km) from his hometown.[2] He was considered a 3-star quarterback by 247Sports[3] and Rivals.com,[4] and a 4 star by ESPN.[5]
College career

[edit]On October 22, 2022, Angeli made his collegiate debut against UNLV. Overall, Angeli appeared in two games in the 2022 season.
2023 season
[edit]In 2023, Angeli was named the backup quarterback, behind Sam Hartman. He appeared in nine games and recorded 4 touchdowns and 1 interception for 272 passing yards.
On December 29, 2023, Angeli made his first collegiate start in the Sun Bowl.[6] He threw for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 40-8 win over Oregon State.
