Staw [staf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szczytniki, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) east of Kalisz and 126 km (78 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań. It is located in the Sieradz Land.

It was a private town, administratively located in the Sieradz County in the Sieradz Voivodeship in the Greater Poland Province of the Kingdom of Poland.[2]
