Stéphane Treppoz (born April 26, 1966) is a French business executive. He was chairman of the management board of Sarenza from 2007 to 2018, then a company director. Since 2024, he has been a member of the Conseil supérieur des programmes.
Biography
[edit]Treppoz graduated from HEC Paris in 1989. He started his career in the United States, first for Arthur Andersen in New York City then, from 1990 to 1995, for the American subsidiary of Meccano.[1] He continued his career in France, within Générale des Eaux which would become Vivendi and then launched into the development of cable internet. In 1998, after Vivendi took control of AOL France, he became CEO of AOL France until 2004.[2]
While working as a consultant for the Wendel Investissement investment fund, he worked with the start-up Sarenza specializing in the online sale of shoes and took over its management in 2007 in tandem with his partner Hélène Boulet-Supau.[3] At the same time, in 2010 he founded the ISAI investment fund, an investment fund for entrepreneurs in France, with Pierre Kosciusko-Morizet, Geoffroy Roux de Bezieux, Ouriel Ohayon and Christophe Raynaud.[4] It has been carrying out actions in middle and high schools since 2021 as part of the 100,000 Entrepreneurs association and forums on education. In April 2024, he is a member of the Conseil supérieur des programmes.[5]
