Biography

[edit]

Milivojević was born on 2 August 1965 in Kruševac, SR Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Belgrade. After completing his studies, he engaged in animal husbandry. He also had a marketing agency and was also involved in catering.[1] He was previously an owner of a fast food restaurant.[2]

Milivojević claimed that he participated in the Anti-bureaucratic revolution but refused to go to Slobodan Milošević's Gazimestan speech as it was clear to him "who Milošević is and what he wants". He participated in the protests against Milošević and later joined Otpor[3] whose candidate he was in the 2003 parliamentary election but failed to get elected to the National Assembly.[4]

In 2004, Otpor merged with the Democratic Party (DS) and Milivojević joined DS. He was elected member of the National Assembly in the 2007 parliamentary election. He was later re-elected in 2008, 2012 and 2022.[1]
