Sphegina parvula is a species of hoverfly in the family Syrphidae.[1] Sphegina parvula is similar to Sphegina pusilla and Sphegina minuta and it may be difficult to distinguish between them

[edit]The name is Latin (parvula) – very small, referring to the small size of the fly.[2]
