Southern Star is the fifth studio album by American musician Brent Cobb. It was released on September 22, 2023. by Ol' Buddy Records.[2]

Southern Star was met with "generally favorable" reviews from critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a weighted average rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream publications, this release received an average score of 77, based on 4 reviews.[3]

Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic wrote: "Cobb's honeyed drawl seems particularly thick here. It almost seems like another instrument in the mix. His words are worth hearing, but the appeal of Southern Star lies in its mellow vibe."[4]
