South Asian Athletics Federation

The South Asian Athletics Federation (SAAF) is the governing body for athletics in South Asia, responsible for organizing regional competitions such as the South Asian Games and the South Asian U20 Athletics Championships.[1]

The SAAF has 8 members: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.[1]

The president of the SAAF is Dr. Lalit K. Bhanot.[1]

The SAAF Cross Country Athletics Championships 2024 were postponed by the SAAF due to smog on 15 November.[2]
