Sookshmadarshini (transl. Microscopic) is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language thriller drama film directed by MC Jithin starring Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph in important roles. The film is produced under Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions. The film which marks Nazriya's return to Malayalam films after a four year hiatus was released on 22 November 2024.[1][2]

Production
[edit]Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions announced the film in May 2024, with Nazriya Nazim and Basil Joseph as the leads.[3] The film marks Nazriya's return to Malayalam films after four years who last appeared in Trance (2020).[4] Later, Deepak Parambol, Siddharth Bharathan, Merin Philp, Akhila Bhargavan, Pooja Mohanraj and Kottayam Ramesh were cast in other prominent roles.[5] Principal photography for the film begin in May 2024 and the film was shot accross Kerala.[6] In August 2024, the filming was wrapped up.[7][8]
Soundtrack
[edit]The music for the film was composed by Christo Xavier.[9] The film has only one track which is used as a promotional song.[10]

Release
[edit]The trailer of Sookshmadarshini was released on 16 November 2024.[11] The film is set for theatrical release 22 November 2024.[12]
