Solon Barnett (March 30, 1921 – July 18, 1998) was a former offensive tackle and guard in the National Football League (NFL).
Biography
[edit]Barnett was born Solon Slade Barnett Jr. in New Willard, Texas.[1]
Career
[edit]Barnett was drafted in the fourteenth round of the 1945 NFL draft by the Chicago Cardinals and would later be a member of the Green Bay Packers for two seasons.[2] He played at the collegiate level at Baylor University and Southwestern University.[3]
