It is managed by contract by Infraero.
History
[edit]The airport opened on April 1, 2022. It replaced the former airport of Sobral, Cel. Virgílio Távora Airport.[4]
On August 23, 2023 the State of Ceará signed a contract of operation with Infraero.[5]
