Career

[edit]

In 2006, he created a rap group called Shayfeen with Chouaib Ribati, known as Shobee.[3]

The group has gained significant notoriety in the Moroccan rap scene.[4] Several tracks from the group (Ntouma Malkoum, Sahbi, Ghayb9aw Jouj, Khchi F Wednek, Wach Kayn Maydar, Tcha Ra, 7it 3arfinni...) have exceeded one million views on YouTube and have broken records on the streaming platforms Spotify and Deezer.[5][6][7]

In 2019, as part of the Naar[8] collective, he collaborated with Dosseh on Kssiri.[9]

At the start of 2021, Small X decided to go solo. It occasionally releases XXL.[10][11] After Phoenix, he reveals an EP of 7 tracks.[12]

In March 2021, he is among the artists who collaborated with ElGrande Toto in his album Caméléon, through the title Thezz.[13][14]

In October 2023, Small X was among the 25 Middle Eastern and North African artists who collaborated on the single "Rajieen", released to raise funds in response to the Gaza genocide amid the Israel–Hamas war.[15]
