The four decade old Sikhareswar(Shiva) Mandir, a Hindu shrine, is situated in Village,Baldiabandha ,district Dhenkanal , Odisha in a greenery environment and against background of distant hillocks. Lord Shiva is called Sikhareswar,God of peak of mountain.Linga is being worshipped as Lord Sikhareswar. Linga is made of the finest blackstone from Khiching , Odisha. This temple was built in 1984 by social activist couple,Late Sikhareswar Jena and Late Jamuni Jena of Baldiabandha.
The sanctum sanctorum of this shrine is of the presiding deity, Lord Sikhareswar[Linga]. It is one of temples of Dhenkanal for pilgrimage. A number of Saivite and other devotees of all faiths throng this shrine throughout the year.No gifts and donations are accepted here being a purely non-profitable organisation.
