Career
[edit]In April 2023, Rind secured a victory in his Karate Combat debut, defeating Venezuela's Gabo Diaz at the KC-38 event in Miami.[7] A month later, in May 2023, he triumphed over French Karteka Tommy Azouz at Karate Combat's KC-39 event, also in Miami.[8] In September 2023, Rind took on Mexican MMA fighter Carlos Guerra, in a bare-knuckle fight in Florida, earning another win.[9][10]
In April 2024, Rind defeated India's Rana Singh during the Karate Combat's KC-45 event in Dubai, finishing the fight in under 20 seconds.[11][12][13] Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who was present, praised Rind's performance.[14][15][16][17] Following this victory, Rind was awarded a government job.[18]
Most recently, in September 2024, Rind claimed the Karate Combat Championship title at the KC-49 event in Singapore, defeating Brazil's Bruno Roberto De Assis in the final.[6][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][excessive citations] Following this triumph, several politicians and even the Army Chief praised his remarkable success.[28][29][30][31][32][33][excessive citations]
The President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, presented a cheque of 100 million Pakistani rupee to Rind at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in recognition of his victory.[34]
