Shahida Tareque Dipti (born 5 May 1966)[1] is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and a former member of parliament from a reserved seat.

Career

Dipti was injured in the 2004 Dhaka grenade attack on a Bangladesh Awami League rally led by Sheikh Hasina.[2] She was elected to parliament from a reserved seat as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in 2009.[3] She is the president of the Dhaka North unit of Bangladesh Mahila Awami League.[4]
