Semanotus japonicus is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae.[1]
The beetle occurs naturally on Honshu, Shikoku, Sado Island, Oki Island and Yaku Island in Japan. Its main host tree is the Japanese cedar, Cryptomeria japonica.[2]
