Science East is an interactive science museum located in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Science East is an engaging and innovative museum focused on presenting exhibits that convey fundamental scientific concepts. As a non-profit organization, it strives to inspire curiosity and a passion for science in visitors of all ages. These displays inspire curiosity and enhance science comprehension for people of all ages. Furthermore, Science East provides inquiry-based learning experiences for students, along with impactful and engaging workshops for educators and professionals. Visitors can experience over 150 interactive exhibits, join in on science-related events, enjoy engaging planetarium shows, and participate in educational outreach programs, all while exploring the Science East Gift Boutique. Additionally, the museum features traveling exhibits that tour various markets and outreach events across New Brunswick. Science East was also known for their programs such as Little Explorers, it was a free pre-kindergarten program featuring different science-themed topics each month. Every Wednesday, staff organized and led activities for the children, allowing them to engage with the center and explore its various offerings. Digital for Me was a Sunday program that took place once a week, allowing students to learn about computer science and coding. We supplied laptops for them to use and taught them valuable coding skills. We also offered themed birthday parties for children, allowing them to choose from a variety of themes. Our staff would set up the party space and facilitate the selected activities. We also provided STEM Kits rentals to schools or early childcare facilities to engage with hands on science activities.

Science East was established in 1994 and has been located in the historic York County Jail since 1999. This building was constructed in 1842, and also serves as a tourist attraction. The museum's basement preserves historical features of the jail, including original cells and inscriptions from former inmates, enriching the visitor experience with a unique perspective of what a prison was like back in the day. However, it is very unfortunate to say that Science East is presently not open for general admissions. Although they are still scheduling workshops for school groups, conducting educational outreach, and participating in public events.
