Sauveterre-de-Rouergue (French pronunciation: [sovtɛʁ də ʁwɛʁɡ], literally Sauveterre of Rouergue; Occitan: Sauvatèrra, before 1962: Sauveterre)[3] is a commune in the Aveyron department in southern France. It is one of the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France (most beautiful villages of France).
