Sara Aagesen Muñoz (born in 1976) is a Spanish engineer serving as Secretary of State for Energy since 17 January 2020.

Life

Sara Aagesen trained as a chemical engineer at the Complutense University of Madrid.[1]

In 2019, she represented Spain at the COP25 which was held in Madrid.[2] She was an advisor to Teresa Ribera in the Ministry of Environment since June 2018.[3]

On 17 January 2020, she was appointed Secretary of State for Energy.[4] She is in charge of the ecological transition in Spain.[5]
