Sankranthiki Vasthunam (transl. We are coming on this Sankranthi) is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and starring Venkatesh, in their third collaboration after F2 (2019) and F3 (2022).[2] Produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film also features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh.[3] The music was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, while the cinematography and editing were handled by Sameer Reddy and Tammiraju respectively.[4][5]

It is the third collaboration of Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi It was extensively shot in Hyderabad, Kasaragod, Dehradun, Mussoorie and Rishikesh.

Sankranthiki Vasthunam is scheduled to release on 14 January 2025, coinciding with Sankranthi weekend.

Premise

YD Raju, an ex-IPS officer, is called by his ex-girlfriend to help her solve a high profile kidnapping case, but things take a turn when Raju's wife accompanies with them in the operation as she is suspicion that Raju might fall in love with ex-girlfriend again.

Principal photography began on 11 July 2024.[6] Filming took place in Hyderabad, Kasaragod, Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Rishikesh.[7]

The soundtrack and the background score were composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, in his maiden collaboration with both Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi.[8] The first single titled "Godari Gattu" was released on 3 December 2024.[8] The second single titled "Meenu" was released on 19 December 2024.[9][10] The third single titled "Blockbuster Pongal" was released on 30 December 2024.[11]

Later, the production house announced that the audio rights for the film were acquired by T-Series.[12]

Shloka Entertainments bought the distribution rights of the film for North America.[14]
