Samik Bhattacharya (born 5 November 1963) is an Indian politician from West Bengal, who is serving as member of Rajya Sabha from West Bengal since 3 April 2024. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party,[1] Bhattacharya was the first member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly from the Basirhat Dakshin constituency from 2014 until 2016. He was also the chief spokesperson of the BJP West Bengal 2020 to 2024.[2][3]

Samik Bhattacharya was nominated as Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls in 2024.[4] Samik Bhattacharya took oath on 4 April as new Rajya Sabha MP.
