The Salvadoran Patriotic Fraternity (Spanish: Fraternidad Patriota Salvadoreña, abbreviated FPS) is a Salvadoran political party. Its leader is Óscar Morales Lemus.[1]
History
[edit]The Salvadoran Patriotic Fraternity was founded in 1985.[2]
The party registered with the Supreme Electoral Court on 12 October 2022 to be able to run candidates during the 2024 general election. On 27 August 2023, Óscar Lemus, the party's leader announced that it had selected Marina Murillo, an architect, as its presidential candidate and Fausto Carranza as its vice presidential candidate.[2]
