Plot

[edit]

Saavi is a girl who drives an auto-rickshaw to provide for her family. After the death of her father in a road accident, she, along with her mother Nutan and elder sister Sonam, moved to her maternal uncle Brijesh's house.

On the other hand, Vedika, the mother of Nityam Dalmiya, a wealthy businessman, seeks a girl whose horoscope matches his for him. Sonam, Saavi's elder sister, falls in love with Nityam and discovers that the girl destined for him is none other than Saavi. Intent on making Nityam her own, Sonam exchanges her horoscope with Saavi's. Despite this, Vedika does not approve of Sonam as her daughter-in-law. Sonam's plans fail when the truth about the horoscope exchange is revealed to Vedika. Consequently, Vedika breaks Nityam's wedding with Sonam and arranges for Nityam to marry Saavi.

No one in the Dalmiya house accepts Saavi as the daughter-in-law. Uma, Nityam's grandmother, tells Vedika that she will accept Saavi only if Saavi completes the puja fully. Saavi completes the puja and is thus accepted by Uma.

Dimpy, Nityam's malicious aunt and his uncle Himesh's second wife, reveals that Saavi had been driving an auto-rickshaw late at night. As a result, everyone begins to dislike Saavi, and Dimpy believes her plan has succeeded. Sonam's boyfriend Shivam, who knows Sonam's true nature, wishes to teach her a lesson. Meanwhile, Himesh's daughter Tashvi, also known as Tashu, is having an affair with Tushar, a boy who turns out to be a cheater. Upon learning the truth, Saavi resolves to help Tashu but is instead misunderstood by Nityam and falls into Dimpy's trap. Enraged, Nityam sells Chhatriprasad, Saavi's beloved auto-rickshaw. When Saavi learns the truth, she breaks off her relationship with Nityam. Realizing his mistake, Nityam repairs the auto-rickshaw himself, thereby winning Saavi's heart. Eventually, Saavi falls for Nityam.

On the other side of the story, Shivam reveals his true identity to his best friend and house companion, Krishna. When Saavi learns the truth, she tries to expose it to everyone but fails to prove it due to Dimpy's treachery. Offended, Nityam ends his marriage with Saavi by performing the marriage's last rites. He is determined to divorce Saavi and end their relationship, which he feels has been forced upon him against his will, forever.

Saavi tries her best to reunite Raksham with his family. In an attempt to do so, she sends him to the Dalmiya household disguised as a caterer named Pyare Mohan Benarasi. Dimpy uncovers the plan due to Sonam's foolishness and gullibility. On Nityam's birthday, Dimpy reveals the truth to everyone, prompting Nityam to force Saavi to leave the house. Raksham ultimately reunites with his family.

A reformed Himesh teams up with Saavi to expose Dimpy to the entire family. They successfully execute their plan on the day of Chaitya Navaratri, revealing Dimpy's true colors to the entire family. As a result, Dimpy is banished from the Dalmiya household.

Saavi's uncle, Hrishikesh, is a greedy man who covets the Dalmiyas' fortune. To extort money from the family, he joins forces with Saavi's aunt Ratna (Brijesh's wife) and files a false case of domestic violence against the entire family. As a result, the entire family, excluding Raksham and Himesh, misunderstands Saavi. Even after Saavi uncovers the truth and clears the family's name, little changes. Uma, who was away at the time, is shocked to learn about the case and dies of a sudden heart attack. Nityam blames Saavi for Uma's death, and all the family members, except for Himesh and Raksham, start to hate her. Six months later, Saavi and Nityam are separated. Saavi's childhood friend Manav enters their lives, making Nityam jealous. Sonam tricks Raksham, and they get married. Later, Raksham realizes that Nityam is still in love with Saavi and discovers that he is Vedika's adopted son. Raksham leaves the house, but the entire family brings him back. Finally, Nityam realizes that he loves Saavi and wants to confess his feelings to her. Later, Saavi finds out to be pregnant with Nityam's child which makes Sonam jealous. For this, she hires goon to kill Saavi and her child in baby shower. But later, she realizes her mistakes which makes Saavi happy. The show ends by showing the name ceremony of Saavi and Nityam's daughter Savitya Dalmiya.
