Russian Geographical Society Glacier

The Russian Geographical Society Glacier (RGS)[1] (Russian: Ледник Географического Общества) it is a large glacier in the Vanch River basin in east Tajikistan,[2] in the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province. It is located in the Pamir Mountains,[2] near Independence Peak (formerly Revolution Peak), at approx. 38°36′N 72°18′E / 38.6°N 72.3°E / 38.6; 72.3.
