Roknabad (Persian: رکنآباد)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Shohada Rural District[b] of the Central District of Meybod County, Yazd province, Iran.[4] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Shahidiyeh,[5] now a neighborhood of the city of Meybod.
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,894 in 506 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,579 people in 726 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,324 people in 698 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
