Richmond Hill is the second collaborative album by American rapper Masta Ace and Canadian producer Marco Polo. It was released on January 26, 2024, through Fatbeats Records.
A continuation of the duo's previous album A Breukelen Story (2018),[1] Richmond Hill has been described as a concept album and a "coming-of-age story".[2]
Reception
[edit]Richmond Hill has received positive reviews from critics. Writing for Cypher Sessions, Daniel Paiz declared the album to be the duo's best collaboration yet, praising its consistency and cohesiveness.[3] Albumism's Jesse Ducker was also receptive to the album, awarding it 4.5 stars out of 5, praising its "no-nonsense, boom-bap" beats and the "mature" performance of Masta Ace.[2]
