Richard Lang is the co-founder, and chief executive officer of Democrasoft co founded in 1989.[1]

Biography

Lang is a inventor in the technology industry, having been the co-inventor of the world's first, patented, dual-deck VCR (videocassette recorder) in 1983,[citation needed] and co-founder of Go-Video, Inc.[2]

In 1987, Lang invented (and later patented) a solution for efficiently delivering video and audio programs over electronic networks, in "burst" mode,[3] which created a foundation for today's video-on-demand and audio-on-demand systems.[citation needed]

Lang is the author of Virtual Country - Strategy for 21st Century Democracy.[4]
