Ricardo Vinuesa Motilva (born 4 February 1986 in Valencia, Spain) is a fluid dynamicist and machine-learning researcher. He is an associate professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden),[1] as well as an Affiliated Researcher at the AI Sustainability Center.[2] He is also vice director of the KTH Digitalization Platform.[3][4] He is known for his work on turbulence (including computational fluid dynamics and machine-learning methods)[5][6] and sustainability.[7][8] Vinuesa led an influential study[9][10][11][12][13] on the impact of AI on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)[14][15] of the United Nations (UN).
