Rekhachithram (transl. The documentary sketch) is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language mystery crime thriller film directed by Jofin T. Chacko, with a screenplay by John Manthrickal and Ramu Sunil. The film is produced by Venu Kunnappilly under the banners Kavya Film Company and Ann Mega Media.[2] It features Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan in lead roles,[3] with supporting roles by Manoj K. Jayan, Harisree Ashokan, Siddique, Indrans and Jagadish.[4]

The film was officially announced on August 11, 2024, and filming concluded on July 15, 2024.[5] The soundtrack and score were composed by Mujeeb Majeed.[6] It is scheduled to release on 9 January 2025.[7]

Premise

In the secluded hills of Malakkappara, a recently reinstated police officer's peaceful assignment is disrupted by the unearthing of a decades-old crime. As he investigates the disappearance of a young nun, from 40 years ago, long-buried secrets and forgotten ties come to light. His search for answers leads to a gripping investigation, unraveling betrayal, corruption, and a chilling truth.[8]
