The Reform PH Party officially as Reform PH - People's Party, is a Filipino political party established in June 2024.

History

[edit]

In June 10, 2024, former senator Gringo Honasan and some of his colleagues from the now-defunct Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM) met at the Club Filipino in San Juan City to form the party.[1] Some members of Magdalo joined the Reform PH.[2] agriculture assistant secretary James Layug, former congressman Willy Villarama and former congressman Mike Defensor also joined the said meeting.[3]

The party adopted mottos such as Our Dreams Shall Never Die from Magdalo and Unity through Reforms from RAM.[3]

The Reform PH will serve as a vehicle to Honasan's comeback campaign for senate in 2025.[4]

Ideology

[edit]

Former Magdalo member and ex-Navy Captain James Layug said that the party's formation was to aim a reformism and new brand of politics for the country. The party also aims to protect environment and for truthful service of public servants.[1][5]
