Ras as-Sana

Raʼs as-Sanah (Arabic: رأس السنة, /raʔs asˈsana/, colloquially: /ra(ː)s es-/; English: New Year) means "Head of the year" in Arabic and refers to the beginning of a new year. The expression may mean any of the following:
