It is situated 4 km (2.5 mi) from sub-district headquarter Buniadpur.[3] Balurghat is the district headquarter of this village. The total geographical area of village is 97.46 hectares (240.8 acres; 0.9746 km2). Buniadpur is nearest city to Rangapukur for all major economic activities, which is 4 km (2.5 mi) away.
