Rajendra Prasad Singh (born 5 November 1965) is a historian, linguist, professor, author and activist known for his critical analysis of Indian history and culture.[1][2][3][4] He has been a professor at Shanti Prasad Jain College since 1996 and was promoted to be the Head of Department of Hindi in February 2024.[5][6] His writings has been published in Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad.[7]

Early life

Singh was born on 5 November 1965 to Budh Ram Singh.[5] He did schooling in his hometown. He completed Bachelor oi Arts in Hindi fversity. His post-gra, then he completed Master of Arts University. He received his doctorate in Hindi language from Banaras Hindu University in 1994.[5]

He got his first job as a lecturer in Veer Kunwar Singh University. In the following years consequently got promoted to editor and later on as a Professor at Shanti Prasad Jain Mahavidyalaya. He is an awardee of Dr George Grierson Award by the Bihar government for his contribution to the study of Languages.[1][7]
