Putheri is a village panchayat located in Rajakkamangalam block of Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu, India.[1][2] The panchayat has total of seven panchayat constituencies. Out of these seven panchayat members are elected.
Nainar Yogeeswaramudaiyar Temple,[3][4] Krishnaswamy Temple,[5] Iravi Vinayagar Temple,[6] Veerakaliamman Temple,[7] and Maragatha Vinayagar Temple[8] located in Putheri are under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu.[citation needed]
