Pushpa K. Hrahmo

K. Hrahmo (born 8 May 1960) is an Indian politician from Mizoram. He won the 2023 Mizoram Legislative Assembly Election on BJP ticket from Palak constituency in Saiha district.[1] He defeated K. T. Rokhaw of MNF by a margin of 1,241 votes.[2][3] BJP won for the first time in Palak constituency.[2]

Early life and education

K.Hrahmo was born in Chakhei,Siaha District,Mizoram, India and he is the son of K. Kihly and T. Pawchhai (mother). He married to B. Ngiaso in 1987 and has a son and four daughters. He graduated from North East Hill University(NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya [4] and was served as secretary of the Mara Christian Fellowship in Shillong.[5] He has a hobby in fishing.[5]

Career

He was an Executive Member of the Mara Autonomous District Council, Siaha for seven terms. He won the 2023 Assembly election.[2][6]
