Genera and species
[edit]As of 2017[update], the Integrated Taxonomic Information System recognizes the following genera and species in Pselliodidae:[2]
- Gonethella Chamberlin, 1918[3]: 165
- Gonethella nesiotes Chamberlin 1918[3]: 165–166
- Gonethina Chamberlin, 1918[3]: 166
- Gonethina fijiana Chamberlin 1920[4]: 80–81
- Gonethina grenadensis Chamberlin 1918[3]: 166–167
- Sphendononema Verhoeff, 1904[5]: 259–261
- Sphendononema chagualensis (Kraus, 1957)
- Sphendononema guildingii (Newport, 1845)[6]: 356
- Sphendononema rugosa (Newport, 1844)[7]: 95
In contrast, Gregory D. Edgecombe wrote this family comprises "at least three species in a single genus", only mentioning the genus Sphendononema and the species S. guildingii and S. rugosa.[8]
