Potu is a 2024 Bengali language Bangladeshi crime thriller film. It was directed by Ahmed Humayun and is the first film directed by the director.[1] It was produced and distributed by Jaaz Multimedia. Evan Sair, Afra Shaiara and Shoaib Monir play the lead roles. Evan Sair and Afra Shaiara made their film debut through this film.[2][3]

Music
[edit]The song was sung by Kolkata's Lagnajita Chakraborty, Bangladesh's Islam Palakar along with the film's director and music director Ahmed Humayun himself.[6][7]
Production
[edit]The music director Ahmed Humayun made his debut as a director by directing this film. The story of the film and the shooting are all around Rajshahi, the northern city of Bangladesh.[8] It received uncut clearance from the censor board on 3 April 2024.[9][10]
Release
[edit]The first look of the film was released on 9 February 2024.[11] The film was scheduled to release on 11 April 2024 on the occasion of Eid, but it was delayed and released in 6 theaters on 10 May 2024.[12][13]
