[edit]Regarding "Most recently the Deep Space Network is going to be used to send to and receive signals from the Pluto probe":
There are two problems with this.
1) "Most recently ... is going to ..." is not sensible. Alternatives: Currently ... is being, or Currently ... is going to; Soon ... is going to, or Soon ... will; Most recently ... was used for
2) "send to and receive signals from the Pluto probe" is unnecessarily awkward and unparallel. I like: "send and receive signals to and from the Pluto probe"
