New list entry for quantum optics and alike?

Good evening dear writers, I wonder if a section called "Quantum optics" would be helpful. Since quantum optics isn't classical but only optics are listed (as classical). Therefore the topic of photonics wouldn't be counted to classical physics, too. I just dont know if the seperation of fields in physics is the same in the english speaking world and hope for answers from the Wiki-Physicists. JayTP (talk) 01:08, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
