A bit astonished that User:DeFacto is happy with the fact that no clue is given as to an eventual motive for the police killing in Coventry on January 4th. They deleted the cannabis arrests and the search for a firearm. Do police in the UK kill at random nowadays? Wakari07 (talk) 17:05, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Wakari07: we report straight facts and don't try to second-guess or imply motives or to sensationalise or embellish events. The news is the shooting, not the arrests of two men in relation to cannabis allegations, which probably happens all over the UK everyday, and the two men have since been released. There was no gun found and no currently reported ongoing gun search. Similarly we don't need to mention that friends of the dead man say he was shot in the back by the police. -- DeFacto (talk). 17:23, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DeFacto: We don't need to see the fact published that his friends say he was a good guy. Also, the "intelligence-led operation" declaration by police is nonsense in my view. My legitimate question is: why did the police kill? The Brits fucking don't care anymore it seems. Wakari07 (talk) 17:36, 6 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
