Should this be written in past or present tense? Also, should it follow the standards of capitalizing cetacean names, e.g. Humpback Whale? Hmmm, well i think that we might as well keep on with the capitalizing of cetacean names, just to keep with the flow of the Project. As for the tense, i would think that as long as there is a date with the news item (which, of course there will be) present tense should be fine. If past tense was used then it would suggest that it happened before that date, which in most of the cases it wouldnt have been. Yeah, i think with news it shouldnt really be treated like a normal article as the sections are relevent to separate things. So links throughout and maybe it would be a good idea to have a link to the actual news article on the date (a bit like what Portal:Sharks has). C hris_huh^talk 16:59, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
