From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What about this? It's a photograph of the construction of Brunel's Royal Albert Bridge on the Great Western Railway in 1859. Although it's perhaps not especially attractive, it's certainly encyclopedic, showing the construction of a famous bridge, and the photograph's age makes it quite interesting. • A very interesting picture, but there's a tag on the description page that it's lacking source information. Sometimes images with such tags fall into the speedy deletion categories, so let's wait a little to see if we can get that data added first. Slambo (Speak) 12:37, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
Is a source really necessary for a clearly public domain (PD-old) image? --Janke | Talk 20:01, 30 May 2009 (UTC)
