- 1877 – An F3 tornado devastated Pensaukee, Wisconsin, destroying 45 homes as well as a new school and an "elegant and luxurious" hotel. All but four buildings in town were damaged or destroyed. Eight people died and 33 were injured.
- 1915 – A tornado outbreak killed seven people in the Midwestern United States. An F2 tornado killed four people in Wentzville, O'Fallon, and Gilmore, Missouri. Another F2 tornado killed two children in Bedford, Indiana, and an F3 tornado killed one person in or near Lawrenceville, Illinois.
