No. 1 Airfield Operations Support Squadron (1AOSS) is a Royal Australian Air Force non-flying squadron. 1AOSS was formed in January 2007 by merging No. 1 Air Terminal Squadron and No. 1 Combat Communications Squadron and is based at RAAF Base Richmond. 1AOSS is responsible for loading and unloading cargo from aircraft and providing temporary and tactical communications electronics facilities to support deployed air operations both within Australia and abroad.
