Princess Haya bint Hussein is the daughter of King Hussein of Jordan and his third wife, Queen Alia. An accomplished equestrian, Hussein was the flag bearer for the Jordanian Olympic team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics and also served two terms as the head of the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI). She is married to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the prime minister of the United Arab Emirates.
