Reiherstieg Schiffswerfte & Maschinenfabrik, also known as Reiherstiegwerft, was a German shipbuilding company, located on the Reiherstieg River in Hamburg. It was founded in 1706 by Lucas Kramer.
During World War I Reiherstiegwerft built three U 151 U-boats for the Kaiserliche Marine, the U-151, U-152 and U-153.

Kurt Sieveking (born 21 December 1897 in Hamburg; died 16 March 1986 in Hamburg) was a German politician (CDU) and First Mayor of Hamburg. In his position as the head of a German state, he was serving as President of the Bundesrat in 1956–1957.
Sieveking was from a well known Hamburg family. Many streets and places in Hamburg were named after them: e.g. Sievekingsallee, Sievekingdamm or Sievekingsplatz (53°33'19"N 9°58'34"E).
In 1951, Sieveking was appointed as the consul in Stockholm and later ambassador in Sweden. In 1953, Sieveking was the canditate of the conservative parties for the office of the First Mayor. He won the election, in his office term he reformed the school system and initiated the town twinning with Saint Petersburg (then Leningrad) in 1957. After the election defeat he remained member of the Hamburg Parliament.
Sieveking is buried at the Ohlsdorf Cemetery.

Absolon Stumme (died 1499) was a Late Gothic painter from Northern Germany who worked in Hamburg.
Absolon Stumme married into the Bornemann family of artists, becoming the second stepfather of Hinrik Bornemann, who died the same year as he did. After their deaths the Hamburg Cathedral altarpiece, upon which they had been working, was finished by Wilm Dedeke. It is debated by 20th century art historians which of the two is recorded as the Master of the Hamburg cathedral altar. Both are also associated with the Master of the Lüneburg foot washing.

Fischmob, from Hamburg, was a German hip hop band in the 1990s. The band includes DJ Koze Stefan Kozalla, Cosmic DJ (Daniel Sommer) and Der Schreckliche Sven Sven Mikolajewicz and DJ Stachy produced 4 albums including their hit song Susanne Zur Freiheit.

Bundesautobahn 252 (abbr: BAB 252) or Autobahn 252 (abbr: A 252) – is a planned short motorway in Hamburg, in north Germany.
The A 252 is called Hafenquerspange (port link road) and planned to connect the A 1 and A 7. It is planned to be finished in 2013.

The Hamburg Blue Devils are an American football team in Hamburg, Germany formed in 1992. They play at the Millerntor-Stadion. They are not to be confused with the Hamburg Sea Devils of NFL Europa.
They are associated with the Hamburg Blue Angels cheerleading squad and with the Hamburg Grey Devils, the senior football players.

Horner Rennbahn is located in the Horn quarter of the city of Hamburg, Germany. It is used for horse racing. It was built in 1869 and has a capacity of 50,000 spectators. It hosts the annual Deutsches Derby on distances from 1,000 m (3,300 ft) to 3,600 m (11,800 ft).
