Poa sintenisii is a species of grass (family Poaceae) endemic to the island of Cyprus in the Mediterranean Sea.[2][3] Under the synonym Lindbergella sintenisii, it was the only species in the monotypic genus Lindbergella.[4][5]
Taxonomy
[edit]The species was first described in 1942 by Harald Lindberg.[6][7] In 1968, Norman Bor transferred it to his new genus Lindbergia,[8] but this name had already been used, so in 1969, he published the replacement name Lindbergella.[5][9]
