Pirzada Farooq Ahmed Shah is an Indian politician from Jammu & Kashmir. He is a Member of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly from 2024, representing Gulmarg Assembly constituency as an Member of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference party.[1][2]


Early Life and Career

Pirzada Farooq Ahmed Shah was born and raised in Jammu and Kashmir. Before transitioning to politics, he had a successful career in the bureaucracy, serving in various capacities within the Jammu and Kashmir government. His roles in the administrative sector laid the foundation for his later work in public service.

Political Career

Farooq Ahmed Shah entered politics after retiring from the civil services. He became a member of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC), one of the major political parties in the region.
