Philip Mifsud
Philip Mifsud (born July 9, 1971) is a Maltese architect and lawyer who in the past was also involved in politics.
Mifsud graduated in architecture from the University of Malta in 1997 and in 1998 he obtained a warrant to practice as an architect. In 2000 Philip established his own practice and since then he runs an architectural firm under the name of PMa Architects.
In 2022, Mifsud graduated from the same University in law. He furthered his studies and obtained an Masters in Advocacy in 2023, thus graduating for the third time from the same university. In 2024 he was admitted to the Bar.
Mifsud hold Maltese warrants to practice both as an architect (perit) and also as lawyer. He specialises in matters which would require the knowledge of both professions.
Between the years 1999 and 2008 he served as a Local Councillor in the locality of Żebbuġ. Throughout this period he served as the Minority Leader. Between 2008 and 2013, Mifsud served as a member of the Maltese Parliament at House of Representatives of Malta. During this period Philip served as a member of the Public Accounts Committee and also as a member of the National Audit Office Accounts Committee. Between 2010 and 2013 Philip served as Parliamentary Assistant in the Ministry of Resources and Rural Affairs.
