Paula Gopee-Scoon

Paula Gopee-Scoon (born 18 April 1958) is a representative of Point Fortin and a government minister in Trinidad and Tobago. Formerly Minister of Foreign Affairs for Trinidad and Tobago from 2007 to 2010, she was appointed the Minister of Trade and Industry on September 11, 2015. She was reappointed August 19, 2020, following the 2020 Trinidad and Tobago general election.[1] She attended the University of the West Indies, where she received a B.Sc, and after that the University of London.[2] She has three children, one of whom was a squash player at Princeton University.[3]
